And here are some of the wonderful things readers are saying so far.
“A refreshing look at dealing with the loss of a loved one with a terrific whodunit plot. Don’t let the title fool you. It is filled with deep character development, moments of sheer emotional strain, pure joy, and best of all, some great unexpected turns in plot. Imagine being so totally absorbed in your life partner that life itself seems useless when they’re no longer there. The protagonist experiences this, then completely reinvents herself to begin life anew. All this with an embedded mystery that kept me turning the pages to find out whodunnit and what she does about it. Highly recommended” – Author Burt Walker
“It’s about familial love and the desire of a husband to protect his wife. I won’t say more but the ending was a total shock to me. Strength and love are a heady combination.”– Amazon Customer
“You will love what AR Shaw has done with The French Wardrobe as she steps out of her role as a master of post apocalyptic fiction to entertain us with a completely different genre. Enjoy this other creative side to her writing skills as she leads us through the twists and turns of various states of emotion, especially sadness, fear, and anger, at least for me. It’s an enjoyable ride on an exciting emotional rollercoaster.”– Amazon Customer

I love reading about our nation’s history, but I’ve never considered how the United States Navy was formed. Not until I read Not Self But Country by David C. Perry, which is a fictional version of those early days of the Revolution, did I realize what a monumental feat it was.
Author David Perry expertly composes the daily lives of those who helped form the first US Navy. You feel the salt spray on your lips and relive the struggle of enemy capture after a harrowing sea battle. His writing is superb and the picture he paints for the reader makes this book an enjoyable and informative read. What’s more, is that Not Self But Country is the beginning of a series. Not only has Perry offered us the first, but he also has the second novel published as well, titled The Crucible of Tradition.
Both books are currently only .99 on Amazon! To read more about this author and his other works you can visit his website at Leadership, Legends and Lore.

A few announcements. Now that The Malefic Nation is awaiting the final editing, I have all this spare time to waste? Not exactly. While the Malefic Nation is on PreSale, I’ve been busily working on another short story for Kindle Worlds. Some of you may have heard of the series by Blake Crouch. Not only is it a Kindle Worlds, it’s also been adapted to television. Wayward Pines is a hit summer TV show starring Matt Dillon. The novella for Wayward Pines will be based on the series and not the TV show, however. There are many differences between the two.
I encourage you to read the series and enjoy this world. My upcoming Kindle Worlds addition to the Wayward Pines series is titledKate’s Redemptionwhich will be based on the untold story of how Kate assimilated so well into Wayward Pines…or did she? Here is the cover reveal for Kate’s Redemption. I’m looking for a quick release on this one. As always, I will let you know the upcoming date.
(In addition, please wait to purchase The Malefic Nation until I give you the special upcoming pricing dates which will only be announced to those on my newsletter list.)
Also, the audiobook for The Last Infidels, narrated by Jim Cunningham will be released on Amazon, Audible and iTunes any day now and this same narrator will begin The Malefic Nation by late summer.
To celebrate Kate’s Redemption, I thought I’d run a giveaway for a Kindle ebook copy ofPines, the first book in the Wayward Pines Trilogy in anticipation of Kate’s Redemption. I’ve read the whole series as well as several of the Kindle Worlds novellas in the Kindle World. It’s unlike anything you’ve read though it’s compared to Twin Peaks. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I know you will too. Blake Crouch is a very talented author.
It looks like The Malefic Nation is gaining traction. It’s a Hot New Release on Amazon Medical Thriller this morning, number two to be exact. It’s great see it climb. I hope everyone will enjoy it on release day.
If you know anyone who would enjoy the series, please let them know The China Pandemic is only .99 until the 12th.
As promised, the last book in the Graham’s Resolution, The Malefic Nation is now a PreSale on Amazon. You can purchase it now and it will magically appear in your Kindle Reader upon release, however, if you are a Newsletter Recipient, don’t buy it now!

Now what? Well, I’ve got a few short stories to work on, one of which will be a Kindle Worlds sequel to Deception on Durham Road, and the other??? I’m also working on a Kindle Worlds addition to the hit series by Black Crouch, Wayward Pines. More to come soon… Beyond that, I’m working on a stand-alone idea. One that I think will be well received. Thank you for sticking with me on this journey into my fiction worlds. I can’t tell you what it’s like to have finished a series.
To celebrate, I’ve decided to run a little giveaway. Below, enter to win a signed copy of The China Pandemic. To enter, just tweet or visit my FB page. Very simple. Please share away as well. Thank you! a Rafflecopter giveaway
Because I’m a Mom of four great kids who are now young adults, I know the life of Motherhood 🙂 In Honor of Mom’s daily sacrifice, please gift to her the ebook, The China Pandemicfor only .99 the entire week of Mother’s Day! May 9th-16th. Get her flowers, a little chocolate and something unique from you.
She’ll love and appreciate that you recognized her stamina of mom-hood. All those late nights worrying over you. The hand she had no qualms about, thrust before your vomiting mouth. The dirty diaper Dad refused to change, but Mom couldn’t let you go around like that one second longer. The money she transferred to your account to get you out of a bind. Teaching you to cook that meal you used to make your girlfriend adore you. Washed the stains out of your favorite blouse. Told you to always use you as an excuse for peer pressure to keep you out of trouble. The list is mighty long and variations apply. No one loves you like Mom. Always remember that.
