I know Ross from The Edler Statesman. He’s also a great resource as a retired combat vet from the War in Afghanistan…and the man can write from the heart! He’s truly talented.
This is a story that tugged at my heartstrings for many reasons. Not only does it start with a child’s plight of abuse, the survival of such a life leads him to become a man with traits few are granted and equipt to deal with when confronted with the harsh world of the Perseid Collapse. I’ve not read a story like this…it’s unique.
I won’t say more and end up spoiling the story. I just encourage you to read Scavenger. You can buy the trilogy or purchase them one by one. You won’t be sorry. I was truly, blown away, and I’m certainly going to check out his other titles.
The Prepper Broadcasting Network is a 24/7 self-reliance and independence news source. On any given day or time you can skip the mainstream news (happily) and tune in to a variety of podcasts. They even have a smartphone app.
I just heard from renowned, narrator, Kevin Pierce, that the audiobook is coming along nicely and will soon be ready for review. I’m very excited! This has been by far the best audio experience by far.
Kevin Pierce has produced many books in this genre. Some notably by the authors below.
October 8th is Indie Author Day. One event I will attend is my local library function in Liberty Lake, Washington. As you can see from the schedule, I will speak about the self-publishing experience and I’ll also serve on the Q&A Panel. So if you’re in the area, come on over and say hello. Bring your questions and visit a while.
#PoweredbyIndie is the hashtag for the month of October celebrating Indie Authors.
Becoming an indie author has suited my personality well. When I began with my first series, Graham’s Resolution, I only set out to tell a story…it’s what drove me and utilizing KDP as my publisher was an easy call. There was no competing for an agent or attempt to try and charm a publisher with my prose. I simply wrote the story within me and published my work. To my surprise readers actually liked what I wrote and I kept going with the series. That was enough encouragement for me to keep going. There’s nothing better than to have readers demand the next book in the series.
There’s nothing better than to have readers demand the next book in the series. There’s also nothing like having them tell you not to kill off a character because they’ve become so emotionally vested in a fictional person or dog that you’ve created. It’s a strange new world and I think I like it.
Now with my new series, Surrender the Sun, my readers are again sinking into a world I’ve created and demanding the next book…now! I’m working on it.
This is why indie publishing is so great. You have direct contact with your readers. And they are not shy about letting you know what they liked and what they didn’t.
For now, I’m sticking with indie publishing with a huge thanks to Amazon KDP Publishing. #PoweredByIndie. If you’d like to see the titles on Amazon’s Powered by Indie features, click on the links.
A year ago publisher Luzifer-Verlag reached out to me to ask for the publishing rights of the first book in Graham’s Resolution, The China Pandemic. Luzifer-Verlag is an awesome German publishing company. They’ve translated and published books for authors, Russell Blake, Ian Graham, G. Michael Hopf and many others.
They created an intriguing cover and translated the novel into German. Just a few days ago the first book in Graham’s Resolution released in Germany and has ready received its first review. Of course, in translation, I can read the reviews and hope they keep coming and are positive. So far so good.
Download your copy of Surrender the Sun today and it will magically appear on your Kindle app the night of the 3rd in most cases.
After the beta readers read Surrender the Sun, I received a lot of encouraging feedback. I hope you will enjoy the first book in this new series. I plan to continue the adventures of Maeve and Bishop through this catastrophic weather encounter.
